Swans Beat Mucklagh At Home

Real FA Swans recorded their second win of season at home yesterday v Mucklagh. In typical Irish weather where you could have possibly seen a variety of ice-creams, soup and umberella's all in the space of eighty minutes of football the swans stormed to another three points.

Free flowing football from the off, a host of chances both converted and missed, the parents who watched on were all very much entertained. Ciara McManus continued her great early form and got things going for the swans with an individual double inside the first ten minutes. Shortly after from consecutive corners and probably a rare occurrence where both swans centre half's Nicole Geoghegan and Claire Stuart found the net. New signing Kacey Clynes was leading the line very well and she too opened her swans account with a double strike in the first half. Chloe Smullen then grabbed her third of the season with a fine individual goal before the break.

Second Half

Real FA Swans made a host of chances second half and it didn't take them long to pick up where they left off. Eva Kelleghan opened her Swans account for the season as the new signing grabbed a hat-trick inside ten minutes after coming off the bench at half time. Zoe Mooney then added another and their was still time for Kacey Geoghegan, Katie Kelly and Aoife Glennon to grab a goal each. It was a fantastic display by the swans who are still finding their feet and gelling as a side with some new additions. Great credit to Mucklagh for continuing to work hard for each other and to keep

going right up to the end.
